Here you will find maps that show you where our bearded vulture ladies come around everywhere. Thus, the further life of the birds in the coming months and years can also be followed. By equipping the bearded vultures with GPS transmitters, the future flight routes of the birds will be shown on a separate map in each case. The data will be posted there with a three-day delay, as is customary for all bearded vulture settlements throughout Europe, for the safety of the birds. This is to prevent the birds from being disturbed by onlookers at their roosts, for example.
Wally was the great cousin of Bavaria and the sister of Recka. Wally was unfortunately found dead on 5/28/2022 in the Raintal north of the Zugspitze after we lost her GPS signal in mid-April.
