Research collaborations

Cooperation between scientists at national and international level has become a central element of scientific work. Complex interrelationships can often only be explored in interdisciplinary approaches in which experts from different disciplines work together. In addition, many questions, such as the effects of climate change, require a consideration of large spatial scales, in which Berchtesgaden is only one of many globally distributed research locations.
