Quality seal

„Environmental Education Bavaria“

The quality seal "Environmental Education Bavaria" was introduced in 2006 to strengthen an education for sustainable development (ESD) and to ensure high quality standards in extracurricular educational work. The quality seal is awarded to non-profit institutions, independents and networks.

The Environmental Education Department of the National Park Administration has been involved from the very beginning and has carried the Environmental Education.Bavaria quality seal without interruption since 2006. Thus, the Berchtesgaden National Park distinguishes itself through high-quality educational work in the sense of ESD and offers a wide variety of nature and environmental topics. Within the framework of the quality seal, the subject area is evaluated annually. Every three years, recertification must be applied for and approved by means of a comprehensive renewal application.
